I've been here twice now and both times I've left pleasantly surprised. The bakery itself is quite small but I love the "make loaves not war" sign inside. There is always a line out the door, but luckily the line moves quickly. There are a few displays with options to choose from, and they also have pizza you can order up front, which I have yet to try. Their baked goods are always so fresh a delicious, I've had to hold myself back from trying everything. They have some outdoor seating but Golden Gate Park is so close, I'd recommend walking over and enjoying your sweet treats (or pizzas) there.

It's very hyped! But it's been on my list for quite some time ever since I somewhere saying "Places you must check out in SF". We came here on a Saturday late afternoon and there's always a line. The bakery is very average, nothing spectacular. Again, it's hyped. But the people in line were all very friendly and what made our experience memorable was the cashier lady. Overall I loved it here. The pizza, almond sourdough and chocolate sourdough I got was alright. Especially the sourdough was very hard like it's been out for a day. However, I didn't finish it and took it home. The xext day I heated it up and damn, the hot, soft almond sourdogh turned out to be phenomenal. I highly suggest to get the bakery FRESH. Only come here in the morning once they open the doors.

Loved the pizza! Fresh, tasty, and friendly service. You may see a line there but it is worth the wait and they are FAST. I also got the sourdough croissant and it also was tasty.

If you're around the Cal Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park, don't miss this spot! It's a worker-owned co-op, and they bake everything fresh--from cookies and breads to pizza slices. You can't go wrong with any choice, and their pizza of the day is always worth trying. My personal favorites are the Cowgirl and Chocolate Mint cookies. There are a few seats outside where you can relax and enjoy your baked goods. Definitely a must-stop!
